Minnesota High School Basketball - Hopkins fells Breck
December 30, 2024: Minnetonka, MN 55305 The Hopkins Royals basketball team scored 95 points and limited the visiting Breck Mustangs to 75 in the Royals non-league triumph on Monday.
The Royals now possess a 9-0 record. They play next when they travel to Orono for a non-league game on Friday, January 3. Hopkins will confront a Spartans team coming off a 61-60 non-league loss to Mitchell (Mitchell, SD). The Spartans record now stands at 5-2.
With the loss, Breck falls to 3-5 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Blake (Minneapolis, MN) to confront the Bears in a AA Section 5 game on Tuesday, January 7. The Bears go into the game with a record of 5-0.
