December 30, 2024: Cumberland, RI 02864 North Providence Cougars (North Providence, RI) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Cumberland Clippers (Cumberland, RI), 58-52 in a non-league match.
With the victory, North Providence upgrades its record to 6-0 on the year. The Cougars travel to South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI) to face the Rebels in a Division II match on Friday, January 3. The Rebels enter the match with a record of 6-0. South Kingstown won 70-63 in their recent non-league match against Westerly (Westerly, RI)
