Louisiana High School Basketball - Destrehan bests Fontainebleau
December 30, 2024: Mandeville, LA 70471 The Destrehan Wildcats (Destrehan, LA) basketball toppled the host Fontainebleau Bulldogs (Mandeville, LA), 54-42 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Wildcats now possess a 16-16 record. They play next when they travel to Dutchtown for a non-league bout on Friday, January 3. Destrehan will play a Griffins team coming off a 74-67 non-league loss to Oak Hill (Hineston, LA). The Griffins record now stands at 11-15.
With the loss, Fontainebleau falls to 12-12 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Franklinton (Franklinton, LA) to play the Demons in a non-league bout on Friday, January 3. The Demons go into the bout with a record of 8-9. Franklinton lost 64-54 in their recent non-league bout against St. Paul's (Covington, LA)
