In Monday's non-league test, the Mt. Zion Bulldogs (Jonesboro, GA) basketball squad got by the visiting Elite Scholars Academy Royal Knights (Jonesboro, GA), by a score of 75-74.

Next, the Bulldogs clash with the Banneker Trojans (College Park, GA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, January 4. Mt. Zion will attempt to improve on its 2-12 season record. The Trojans come into the test with a 6-6 record after their 71-70 non-league win over Adairsville (Adairsville, GA).

The Royal Knights (4-11) will now prepare for their test against Lake Oconee Academy (Greensboro, GA). The Titans come into the non-league test with a 9-3 record. In their last test, Lake Oconee Academy was nipped by Savannah Christian (Savannah, GA), 49-42, in a non-league test.
