South Dakota High School Basketball - Wessington Springs fells Elk Point-Jefferson
December 30, 2024: Wessington Springs, SD 57382 The Wessington Springs Spartans basketball team scored 56 points and limited the visiting Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies to 38 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Monday.
The Spartans now have a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Highmore/Harrold for a non-league game on Saturday, January 4. Wessington Springs will confront a Pirates team coming off a 63-20 non-league loss to Wolsey-Wessington (Wolsey, SD). The Pirates record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Elk Point-Jefferson falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Viborg/Hurley (Viborg, SD) to confront the Cougars in a non-league game on Saturday, January 4. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 4-1.
