South Dakota High School Basketball - Tri-Valley overwhelms Freeman Academy/Marion
December 30, 2024: Freeman, SD The Tri-Valley Mustangs basketball team scored 67 points and limited the host Freeman Academy/Marion to 36 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Monday.
The Mustangs now possess a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Vermillion for a non-league game on Friday, January 3. Tri-Valley will confront a Tanagers team coming off a 72-39 non-league win over Mt. Vernon/Plankinton (Mt. Vernon, SD). The Tanagers record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Freeman Academy/Marion falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The host Tripp-Delmont/Armour (Armour, SD) to confront the Nighthawks in a non-league game on Friday, January 3. The Nighthawks go into the game with a record of 1-2. Tripp-Delmont/Armour lost 64-56 in their recent non-league game against Wagner (Wagner, SD)
