Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Greater Nanticoke Area nudges Hanover Area
December 30, 2024: Hanover Township, PA 18706 The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Greater Nanticoke Area Trojans (Nanticoke, PA) and the host Hanover Area Hawkeyes (Hanover Township, PA), observed Greater Nanticoke Area's basketball team edge Hanover Area by a score of 35-30.
The Trojans (5-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Pittston (Pittston, PA). The Patriots come into the Wyoming Valley 1 challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Pittston edged Nativity BVM (Pottsville, PA), 86-65, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Hawkeyes encounter the Wyoming Seminary College Prep Blue Knights (Kingston, PA) in a Wyoming Valley 2 challenge, on Saturday, January 4. Hanover Area will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record.
