The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Greer Yellow Jackets (Greer, SC) and the visiting La Jolla Country Day Torreys (La Jolla, CA), observed Greer's basketball team edge La Jolla Country Day by a score of 61-58.

The Yellow Jackets (6-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Berea (Greenville, SC). The Bulldogs come into the AAAA Region 2 challenge with a 6-5 record. In their last challenge, Berea was tipped by Mountain Heritage (Burnsville, NC), 71-66, in a non-league challenge.
