South Dakota High School Basketball - Houston nips Hamlin
December 30, 2024: Hayti, SD 57241 In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Houston Mustangs basketball team scored a close 74-71 win over the Hamlin Chargers.
The Mustangs (12-2) will now prepare for their contest against Hillsboro (Nashville, TN). The Burros come into the non-league contest with a 13-3 record. In their last contest, Hillsboro edged Father Tolton (Columbia, MO), 71-51, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Chargers battle the Castlewood Warriors (Castlewood, SD) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 3. Hamlin will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Warriors come into the contest with a 3-0 record after their 64-50 non-league win over Madison (Madison, SD).
