December 30, 2024: Long Beach, CA 90805 Jordan Panthers (Long Beach, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Kennedy Cougars (Granada Hills, CA), 80-47 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Jordan upgrades its record to 9-6 on the year. The Panthers travel to Compton (Compton, CA) to face the Tarbabes in a Moore match on Wednesday, January 8. The Tarbabes enter the match with a record of 2-10.
The Cougars now sport a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Monroe for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 2. Kennedy will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 67-36 non-league loss to University (Los Angeles, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 1-6.
