December 30, 2024: Franklin Park, IL 60131 The Ridgewood Rebels (Norridge, IL) basketball crushed the host Leyden Eagles (Franklin Park, IL), 71-48 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Rebels now possess a 9-5 record. They play next when they travel to Riverside-Brookfield for a Upstate Eight bout on Tuesday, January 7. Ridgewood will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 70-58 non-league loss to Lemont (Lemont, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-7.
With the loss, Leyden falls to 5-8 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Elk Grove (Elk Grove Village, IL) to play the Grenadiers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 3. The Grenadiers go into the bout with a record of 1-12. Elk Grove won 50-45 in their recent non-league bout against South Elgin (South Elgin, IL)
