December 30, 2024: Shreveport, LA 71101 In Monday's non-league contest, the host Loyola College Prep Flyers basketball team scored a big 66-36 triumph over the St. Mary Tigers.
The Flyers (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Minden (Minden, LA). The Crimson Tide go into the 4A District 1 contest with a 11-2 record. In their last contest, Minden smashed Haughton (Haughton, LA), 72-41, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Hornbeck Hornets (Hornbeck, LA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 2. St. Mary will attempt to better on its 1-11 season record. The Hornets go into the contest with a 10-8 record after their 53-44 non-league loss to Airline (Bossier City, LA).
