The Round Lake Panthers basketball squad (Round Lake, IL), was outscored 56-48 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting MCC Crescents (Morton Grove, IL)

With the victory, MCC advances its record to 5-8 on the year. The Crescents travel to Unity Christian Academy (South Holland, IL) to meet the Phoenix in a Metro Prep battle on Monday, January 6. The Phoenix enter the battle with a record of 8-5. Unity Christian Academy lost 60-39 in their recent non-league battle against Leo (Chicago, IL)
