The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the West Wolfpack (Tracy, CA) and the visiting Merced Bears (Merced, CA), observed West's basketball team edge Merced by a score of 46-42.

The Wolfpack (13-1) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Mary's (Stockton, CA). The Rams come into the Tri-City Athletic League challenge with a 7-7 record. In their last challenge, St. Mary's edged Pioneer (San Jose, CA), 50-42, in a non-league challenge.
