North Dakota High School Basketball - New Town nudges New Salem
December 30, 2024: New Town, ND 58763 The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the New Town Eagles (New Town, ND) and the visiting New Salem Holsteins (New Salem, ND), observed New Town's basketball team edge New Salem by a score of 62-55.
The Eagles (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Parshall/North Shore (Parshall, ND). The Braves come into the non-league challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Parshall/North Shore was tipped by Tioga (Tioga, ND), 72-40, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Holsteins encounter the White Shield Warriors (Roseglen, ND) in a B District 8 challenge, on Saturday, January 4. New Salem will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 62-44 non-league win over Kidder County co-op [Steele/Tappen] (Steele, ND).
