New York High School Basketball - Union-Endicott knocks off Owego Free Academy
December 30, 2024: Endicott, NY 13760 The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Union-Endicott Tigers (Endicott, NY) and the visiting Owego Free Academy River Hawks (Owego, NY), observed Union-Endicott's basketball team overcome Owego Free Academy by a score of 65-51.
The Tigers (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Vestal (Vestal, NY). The Golden Bears come into the Section 4 Southern Tier - Metro challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Vestal defeated Bainbridge-Guilford (Bainbridge, NY), 55-32, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the River Hawks battle the Chenango Valley Warriors (Binghamton, NY) in a Section 4 Southern Tier - Central challenge, on Saturday, January 11. Owego Free Academy will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record.
