The Viewpoint Patriots were victorious over the visiting Saguaro Sabercats basketball squad by a final score of 74-65 in Monday's non-league outing.

Next, the Patriots face the Brentwood School Eagles (Los Angeles, CA) in a Gold Coast outing, on Friday, January 3. Viewpoint will attempt to upgrade on its 14-3 season record. The Eagles enter the outing with a 16-2 record after their 70-50 non-league win over Chaminade (West Hills, CA).

The Sabercats (11-4) will now prepare for their outing against Mesquite (Gilbert, AZ). The Wildcats enter the 4A Desert Sky outing with a 6-5 record. In their last outing, Mesquite was defeated by ALA - Queen Creek (Queen Creek, AZ), 76-71, in a non-league outing.
