Delaware High School Basketball - Unionville trounced by St. Elizabeth
December 30, 2024: Wilmington, DE 19805 St. Elizabeth Vikings (Wilmington, DE) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Unionville Longhorns (Kennett Square, PA), 57-34 in a non-league match.
With the victory, St. Elizabeth advances its record to 5-1 on the year. The Vikings host First State Military Academy (Clayton, DE) to face the Bulldogs in a Diamond State match on Thursday, January 2. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 0-4. First State Military Academy lost 42-33 in their recent non-league match against Delmarva Christian (Georgetown, DE)
The Longhorns now own a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chichester for a non-league match on Thursday, January 2. Unionville will face a Eagles squad coming off a 56-39 non-league win over Bayard Rustin (West Chester, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 5-6.
