With the victory, Scranton upgrades its record to 11-2 on the year. The Rockets host Mulberry (Mulberry, AR) to face the Yellowjackets in a 1A Region 4 match on Tuesday, January 7. The Yellowjackets enter the match with a record of 3-13. Mulberry lost 66-22 in their recent non-league match against Mountainburg (Mountainburg, AR)
The Tigers now sport a 15-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mountainburg for a 2A Region 4 match on Tuesday, January 7. Acorn will face a Dragons squad coming off a 45-41 non-league loss to Wonderview (Hattieville, AR). The Dragons record now stands at 12-4.
