Florida High School Basketball - The First Academy bests Beachside

The The First Academy Royals (Orlando, FL) basketball toppled the visiting Beachside Barracudas (St. Johns, FL), 52-44 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Royals now possess a 11-3 record. They play next when they travel to Miami Christian for a non-league bout on Friday, January 3. The First Academy will play a Victors team coming off a 63-39 non-league win over Monsignor Pace (Miami, FL). The Victors record now stands at 8-6.

With the loss, Beachside falls to 7-5 on the campaign. The Barracudas host Providence School (Jacksonville, FL) to play the Stallions in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 7. The Stallions go into the bout with a record of 8-5. Providence School lost 51-50 in their recent non-league bout against Grainger (Rutledge, TN)
