In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Tucker Tigers basketball team scored a close 47-41 win over the Cedar Grove Saints.

The Tigers (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against M.L. King (Lithonia, GA). The Lions come into the non-league contest with a 2-12 record. In their last contest, M.L. King was tipped by Hampton (Hampton, GA), 64-31, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Saints battle the Stone Mountain Pirates (Stone Mountain, GA) in a AAA Region 5 contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Cedar Grove will attempt to better on its 1-9 season record.
