December 30, 2024: Mountain Top, PA 18707 The Crestwood Comets (Mountain Top, PA) basketball crushed the visiting Greater Nanticoke Area Trojans (Nanticoke, PA), 62-28 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Comets now possess a 6-2 record. They play next when they host Dallas for a Wyoming Valley 1 bout on Friday, January 3. Crestwood will play a Mountaineers team coming off a 53-47 non-league win over Greater Nanticoke Area (Nanticoke, PA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 4-5.
With the loss, Greater Nanticoke Area falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Tunkhannock (Tunkhannock, PA) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 3. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 3-4. Tunkhannock lost 54-31 in their recent non-league bout against Dallas (Dallas, PA)
