Texas High School Basketball - Ore City trounced by Harmony
December 30, 2024: Ore City, TX 75683 Harmony Eagles (Big Sandy, TX) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Ore City Rebels (Ore City, TX), 51-9 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Harmony advances its record to 12-10 on the year. The Eagles host Hughes Springs (Hughes Springs, TX) to face the Mustangs in a 3A Region II District 13 match on Friday, January 3. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 10-12. Hughes Springs won 33-25 in their recent non-league match against Linden-Kildare (Linden, TX)
The Rebels now own a 1-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bloomburg for a non-league match on Friday, January 3. Ore City will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 70-22 non-league loss to Bowie (Simms, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-7.
