In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting LeFlore Rattlers basketball team scored a big 47-20 triumph over the Hillcrest Jaguars.

The Rattlers (2-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Citronelle (Citronelle, AL). The Wildcats come into the 5A Area 2 challenge with a 2-7 record. In their last challenge, Citronelle trounced Accel Academy (Mobile, AL), 48-27, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Jaguars encounter the Monroe County Tigers (Monroeville, AL) in a 3A Area 2 challenge, on Saturday, January 4. Hillcrest will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record.
