With the victory, Maumee upgrades its record to 7-2 on the year. The Panthers travel to Otsego (Tontogany, OH) to face the Knights in a Northern Buckeye match on Friday, January 3. The Knights enter the match with a record of 4-8. Otsego lost 55-35 in their recent non-league match against Delta (Delta, OH)
The Bulldogs now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Findlay for a non-league match on Saturday, January 4. Scott will face a Trojans squad coming off a 33-31 non-league win over Wapakoneta (Wapakoneta, OH). The Trojans record now stands at 8-2.
