Utah High School Basketball - Lehi thwarts Springville
December 30, 2024: Lehi, UT 84043 The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Lehi Pioneers (Lehi, UT) and the visiting Springville Red Devils (Springville, UT), observed Lehi's basketball team knock off Springville by a score of 47-28.
The Pioneers (9-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Payson (Payson, UT). The Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record.
In their next game, the Red Devils encounter the Corner Canyon Chargers (Draper, UT) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 3. Springville will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.

Game Summary: The Lehi girl's sophomore team got out to a quick 10 to 2 to start the game and the game never was close. The undefeated Pioneers coasted to a 47 to 28 win. Harley Sowby led the way with a game high 18 points. Kennidee Roberts scored in double figures with 10 points. The team had 13 blocked shots and 13 steals. Like the rest of the games they have played, it was an easy win. After the next game against Payson, region play begins. The competition will be better and the games a little more challenging.
