December 30, 2024: Mineral Wells, TX 76067 Brownwood Lions (Brownwood, TX) backers exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Mineral Wells Rams (Mineral Wells, TX), 5-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Brownwood advances its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Meyer (Waco, TX) to clash with the Ravens in a non-league test on Friday, January 3. The Ravens come into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Rams now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Brewer for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 7. Mineral Wells will clash with a Bears team coming off a 1-1 non-league Richland (North Richland Hills, TX). The Bears record now stands at 0-2.
