California High School Basketball - Dixon can't hold off Armijo
December 30, 2024: Dixon, CA 95620 Armijo Royals (Fairfield, CA) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Dixon Rams (Dixon, CA), 31-25 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Armijo advances its record to 2-5 on the year. The Royals travel to McNair (Stockton, CA) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Saturday, January 4. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 5-7. McNair lost 73-54 in their recent non-league match against Venture Academy (Stockton, CA)
The Rams now own a 2-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rio Linda for a match on Friday, January 3. Dixon will face a Knights squad coming off a 57-53 league loss to Galt (Galt, CA). The Knights record now stands at 1-5.
