California High School Basketball - Eastside fells Canyon

The Eastside Lions basketball team scored 55 points and limited the host Canyon Cowboys to 41 in the Lions non-league triumph on Monday.

The Lions now have a 5-5 record. They play next when they host Littlerock for a non-league game on Thursday, January 2. Eastside will confront a Lobos team coming off a 51-35 league loss to Antelope Valley (Lancaster, CA). The Lobos record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Canyon falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Cowboys travel to Valencia (Valencia, CA) to confront the Vikings in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 7. The Vikings go into the game with a record of 13-4. Valencia won 84-45 in their recent non-league game against Newbury Park (Newbury Park, CA)
