California High School Basketball - Fortune Early College can't hold off Center
December 30, 2024: Sacramento, CA 95833 Center Cougars (Antelope, CA) supporters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Fortune Early College Panthers (Sacramento, CA), 49-43 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Center advances its record to 10-3 on the year. The Cougars travel to Wheatland (Wheatland, CA) to face the Pirates in a match on Wednesday, January 8. The Pirates enter the match with a record of 6-3.
The Panthers now own a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Campus for a non-league match on Thursday, January 2. Fortune Early College will face a Warriors squad coming off a 85-49 non-league win over Amador (Sutter Creek, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 3-5.
