California High School Basketball - Helix defeats Hoover
December 30, 2024: La Mesa, CA 91941 The Helix Highlanders (La Mesa, CA) basketball were winner over the visiting Hoover Cardinals (San Diego, CA), 68-58 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Highlanders now possess a 6-4 record. They play next when they host University City for a non-league bout on Friday, January 3. Helix will play a Centurions team coming off a 59-57 non-league loss to Sage Creek (Carlsbad, CA). The Centurions record now stands at 5-7.
With the loss, Hoover falls to 8-3 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Patrick Henry (San Diego, CA) to play the Patriots in a bout on Friday, January 10. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 10-3.
