California High School Basketball - Saugus holds off Heritage Christian
December 30, 2024: Saugus, CA 91350 The Saugus Centurions basketball team scored 51 points and limited the visiting Heritage Christian Warriors to 46 in the Centurions non-league triumph on Monday.
The Centurions now possess a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Golden Valley for a game on Tuesday, January 7. Saugus will confront a Grizzlies team coming off a 75-34 non-league loss to West Ranch (Valencia, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 6-7.
With the loss, Heritage Christian falls to 7-12 on the campaign. The Warriors host Valley Christian (Cerritos, CA) to confront the Defenders in a game on Tuesday, January 7. The Defenders go into the game with a record of 0-6. Valley Christian lost 61-35 in their recent non-league game against Kennedy (La Palma, CA)
