Virginia High School Basketball - King's Fork thwarts Woodside
December 30, 2024: Newport News, VA 23608 The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the King's Fork Bulldogs (Suffolk, VA) and the host Woodside Wolverines (Newport News, VA), observed King's Fork's basketball team knock off Woodside by a score of 52-42.
The Bulldogs (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Catholic (Virginia Beach, VA). The Crusaders come into the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Catholic prevailed over Nansemond River (Suffolk, VA), 68-64, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Wolverines encounter the Warwick Raiders (Newport News, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Woodside will attempt to improve on its 8-1 season record.
