California High School Basketball - La Canada holds off Village Christian
December 30, 2024: La Canada, CA 91011 The La Canada Spartans basketball team scored 45 points and limited the visiting Village Christian Crusaders to 44 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Monday.
The Spartans now possess a 12-3 record. They play next when they travel to San Marino for a game on Wednesday, January 8. La Canada will confront a Titans team coming off a 47-40 non-league win over Alhambra (Alhambra, CA). The Titans record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Village Christian falls to 10-5 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Whittier Christian (La Habra, CA) to confront the Heralds in a game on Friday, January 3. The Heralds go into the game with a record of 1-2. Whittier Christian lost 53-48 in their recent non-league game against Bolsa Grande (Garden Grove, CA)
