The Sanger Indians basketball team scored 42 points and held the host Byron Nelson Bobcat to 34 in the Indians non-league triumph on Friday.

The Indians now sport a 17-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Anna for a 4A Region II District 9 contest on Tuesday, January 4. Sanger will battle a Coyotes team coming off a 48-10 non-league loss to Ursuline Academy (Dallas, TX). The Coyotes record now stands at 14-10.

The Bobcat (8-10) will now prepare for their contest against Keller (Keller, TX). The Indians enter the 6A Region I District 4 contest with a 17-5 record.
