Texas High School Basketball - Rockwall can't hold off Frenship
December 31, 2021: Wolfforth, TX 79382 The Rockwall Yellowjackets basketball team (Rockwall, TX), was nudged 56-49 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Frenship Tigers (Wolfforth, TX)
The Tigers now sport a 16-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Abilene for a 6A Region I District 2 battle on Tuesday, January 4. Frenship will battle a Eagles team coming off a 60-37 non-league loss to Birdville (North Richland Hills, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 5-18.
The Yellowjackets (16-8) will now prepare for their battle against Skyline (Dallas, TX). The Raiders come into the 6A Region II District 10 battle with a 10-14 record. In their last battle, Skyline was nudged by Summer Creek (Houston, TX), 53-48, in a non-league battle.
