December 31, 2021: Winchester, MA 01890 In Friday's league outing, the Winchester Sachems (Winchester, MA) basketball squad edged the visiting Malden Catholic Lancers (Malden, MA), by a count of 50-43.
The Sachems (3-1) will now prepare for their outing against Wilmington (Wilmington, MA). The Wildcats go into the Middlesex outing with a 2-3 record. In their last outing, Wilmington held off Groton-Dunstable (Groton, MA), 47-18, in a non-league outing.
The Lancers now hold a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Georgetown for a non-league outing on Wednesday, January 5.
