Nebraska High School Basketball - Bishop Neumann crushes Lourdes Central Catholic
December 31, 2022: Wahoo, NE 68066 Bishop Neumann Cavaliers (Wahoo, NE) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lourdes Central Catholic Knights (Nebraska City, NE), 60-23 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Bishop Neumann upgrades its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host Boys Town (Boys Town, NE) to play the Cowboys in a non-league bout on Friday, January 6. The Cowboys come into the bout with a record of 0-4. Boys Town lost 56-55 in their recent non-league bout against Blair (Blair, NE)
Next up, the Knights play the Johnson-Brock Eagles (Johnson, NE) in a D1 District 1 bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Lourdes Central Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 56-49 non-league loss to Parkview Christian (Lincoln, NE).
