December 31, 2022: Winthrop, WA 98862 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Liberty Bell Mountain Lions (Winthrop, WA) and the visiting Chelan Mountain Goats (Chelan, WA), saw Liberty Bell's basketball squad wallop Chelan by a count of 71-48.
With the victory, Liberty Bell upgrades its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Mountain Lions travel to Tonasket (Tonasket, WA) to play the Tigers in a 2B Central Washington challenge on Friday, January 6. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 7-2.
Next up, the Mountain Goats play the Quincy Jackrabbits (Quincy, WA) in a 1A Caribou Trail challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Chelan will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Jackrabbits come into the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 79-76 non-league loss to Mead (Spokane, WA).
