December 31, 2022: Weatherford, TX 76087 In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Monterey Plainsmen basketball team scored a good 54-40 triumph over the Weatherford Kangaroos.
In their next game, the Plainsmen meet the Wylie Bulldogs (Abilene, TX) in a 5A Region I District 4 match, on Tuesday, January 3. Monterey will attempt to move on its 13-8 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 8-12 record after their 54-45 non-league win over Little River Academy (Little River Academy, TX).
With the defeat, Weatherford moves to 7-12 on the year. The Kangaroos travel to Bell (Hurst, TX) to meet the Blue Raiders in a 6A Region I District 3 match on Friday, January 6. The Blue Raiders enter the match with a record of 2-11.
