Texas High School Basketball - Alpine nudges Brentwood Christian
December 31, 2022: Austin, TX 78753 Alpine Bucks (Alpine, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Brentwood Christian Bears (Austin, TX), 34-32 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Alpine upgrades its record to 7-11 on the season. The Bucks travel to Stanton (Stanton, TX) to clash with the Buffaloes in a 3A Region I District 4 bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Buffaloes go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Stanton won 43-33 in their recent league bout against Kermit (Kermit, TX)
Next up, the Bears clash with the John Paul II Centurions (Corpus Christi, TX) in a TAPPS 4A District 3 bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Brentwood Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 3-15 season record. The Centurions go into the bout with a 5-14 record after their 52-39 non-league loss to London (Corpus Christi, TX).
