Texas High School Basketball - Argyle crushes Winnsboro
December 31, 2022: Argyle, TX 76226 Argyle Eagles (Argyle, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Winnsboro Raiders (Winnsboro, TX), 60-31 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Argyle upgrades its record to 19-3 on the season. The Eagles host Birdville (North Richland Hills, TX) to clash with the Hawks in a 5A Region I District 7 bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 12-9. Birdville won 47-23 in their recent non-league bout against Molina (Dallas, TX)
Next up, the Raiders clash with the Palestine Wildcats (Palestine, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Winnsboro will attempt to upgrade on its 16-8 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 10-8 record after their 53-41 non-league win over Van (Van, TX).
