December 31, 2022: Newport, TN 37821 The Cocke County Fighting Cocks topped the visiting Southwest DeKalb Panthers basketball team by a final score of 58-39 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Fighting Cocks face the Morristown-Hamblen West Trojans (Morristown, TN) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, January 3. Cocke County will attempt to move on its 9-6 season record. The Trojans enter the game with a 7-3 record after their 52-39 non-league win over Grainger (Rutledge, TN).
