Texas High School Basketball - Hico victorious over Strawn
December 31, 2024: Strawn, TX 76475 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Hico Tigers basketball team scored a good 41-29 triumph over the Strawn Greyhounds.
The Tigers (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against Santo (Santo, TX). The Wildcats go into the 2A Region II District 11 contest with a 5-10 record. In their last contest, Santo was topped by Big Spring (Big Spring, TX), 57-21, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Greyhounds battle the Trent Gorillas (Trent, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 3. Strawn will attempt to better on its 1-7 season record. The Gorillas go into the contest with a 11-5 record after their 65-32 league loss to Hermleigh (Hermleigh, TX).
