The Redbirds now possess a 13-3 record. They play next when they host Morgan Park for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 4. Metamora will play a Mustangs team coming off a 57-48 non-league loss to Wheaton Academy (West Chicago, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 8-6.
With the loss, Lake Zurich falls to 6-8 on the campaign. The Bears host Zion-Benton (Zion, IL) to play the Zee-Bees in a North Suburban bout on Tuesday, January 7.
