The Montgomery Bears basketball squad (Montgomery, TX), was outscored 43-34 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Fulshear Chargers (Fulshear, TX)

With the victory, Fulshear advances its record to 19-7 on the year. The Chargers travel to Foster (Richmond, TX) to meet the Falcons in a 6A Region III District 20 battle on Friday, January 3. The Falcons enter the battle with a record of 12-12. Foster lost 50-33 in their recent non-league battle against Barbers Hill (Mt. Belvieu, TX)

The Bears now own a 19-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Huntsville for a 5A Region III District 17 battle on Friday, January 3. Montgomery will meet a Hornets squad coming off a 43-40 non-league loss to Plano West (Plano, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 12-11.
