In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Huckabay Indians basketball team scored a big 68-24 triumph over the Strawn Greyhounds.

The Indians (11-2) will now prepare for their contest against Iredell (Iredell, TX). The Dragons go into the 1A Region III District 22 contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Iredell was trounced by Bluff Dale (Bluff Dale, TX), 2-0, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Greyhounds battle the Ranger Bulldogs (Ranger, TX) in a 1A Region II District 13 contest, on Friday, January 3. Strawn will attempt to better on its 10-7 season record.
