December 31, 2024: Mt. Vernon, OH 43050 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Mt. Vernon Yellowjackets (Mt. Vernon, OH) and the visiting Marion Harding Presidents (Marion, OH), observed Mt. Vernon's basketball team knock off Marion Harding by a score of 44-33.
The Yellowjackets (8-2) will now prepare for their challenge against River Valley (Caledonia, OH). The Vikings come into the non-league challenge with a 4-6 record. In their last challenge, River Valley was knocked off by Granville (Granville, OH), 59-42, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Presidents encounter the Galion Tigers (Galion, OH) in a Mid-Ohio challenge, on Friday, January 3. Marion Harding will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 3-10 record after their 58-12 league loss to River Valley (Caledonia, OH).
