Kentucky High School Basketball - Great Crossing tops Augusta
December 4, 2021: Georgetown, KY Great Crossing (Georgetown, KY) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Augusta Panthers (Augusta, KY), 69-53 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Great Crossing upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The travel to Ballard (Louisville, KY) to play the Bruins in a non-league bout on Sunday, December 26. The Bruins come into the bout with a record of 2-1.
Next up, the Panthers play the Paris Greyhounds (Paris, KY) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 7. Augusta will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Greyhounds come into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 83-39 non-league win over Covington Latin (Covington, KY).
