Texas High School Basketball - Calvary Academy tops Lucas Christian Academy
December 4, 2021: Denton, TX 76209 Calvary Academy Lions (Denton, TX) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Lucas Christian Academy Warriors (Lucas, TX), 54-42 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Calvary Academy upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Lions host Lake Country Christian (Fort Worth, TX) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 7. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 8-3.
Next up, the Warriors play the Ovilla Christian Eagles (Red Oak, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 7. Lucas Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 5-2 record after their 39-37 non-league win over Bethesda Christian (Fort Worth, TX).
